About the position

As national Commercial Sales SAP Alliance Manager at OpenText, you will collaborate with teams to understand business requirements, analyze existing IT infrastructure, implement solutions, and enhance processes to meet organizational objectives. You will develop and execute the SAP partner strategy in the region, ensuring seamless operations and driving digital transformation. Your role will involve implementing, maintaining, and supporting industry-specific applications such as ERP software, ensuring data integrity and security, and overseeing the integration of IT systems to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales leadership to define the SAP market opportunity, strategy & business plan for our strategic partner in (US/EU) with a strong focus on revenue growth.
  • Manage & report the progress to plan throughout the year.
  • Coordinate & support enablement activities to train & educate various roles including sales & technical consultants.
  • Engage all stakeholders internally & externally, specifically SAP, to realize the business plan.
  • Understand the SAP partner's political structure and build senior executive champions to drive change and overcome hurdles.
  • Coordinate & support Demand Generation activities to grow SAP pipelines.
  • Manage localization requirements with the SAP partner and OpenText product management.
  • Learn & share best practices with other regional partner leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field sales experience or related partner management and partner sales experience.
  • Track record to meet or exceed quotas, either in direct field sales roles or in partner management/partner sales roles.
  • Experience working with license sales teams at SAP & large software and/or SaaS vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with all levels of an organization from CEO/MD down and with a high degree of diplomacy.
  • Development of enabling programs for sales and SAP channel.
  • Business-level value propositions of complex solutions and/or related software solution offerings.
