About the position

The Commercial Support Coordinator is a full-time position responsible for managing day-to-day tasks for the commercial flooring sales team. This role involves assisting with project orders, ensuring proper documentation, and facilitating communication between various departments and external contacts. The position reports to the Commercial Sales Manager and includes some supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial project orders and add project documents to the company-wide software system.
• Send repairs and other work needs to packet group to ensure proper information is documented.
• Communicate with warehouse, billing, and other departments as well as external contacts, such as suppliers, to ensure proper documentation for all sales team's paperwork, drawings, and other documents.
• Send reminders and changes on any commercial projects.
• Communicate repairs and ensure the commercial department is organized and follows procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an office or sales support position.
• Previous administrative experience in construction preferred.
• Math skills acquired through high school diploma or equivalent to understand pricing, measurements, bids and proposals, billing and other related financial transactions.
• English communication skills acquired through high school diploma or equivalent to communicate both verbally and in writing to independently handle customer and team requests and issues.
• Proficient with standard computer applications (email, spreadsheets) through previous work experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a team-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently while taking direction as needed.
