Responsibilities
- Directs employees in the commissary department with respect and courtesy.
- Complies with and enforces safety policies, promoting a safe work environment.
- Trains new employees and those changing job classifications on proper procedures and equipment usage.
- Monitors and counts inventory levels of materials needed for production.
- Inspects products to verify conformance to quality specifications and maintains QA records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ability to read and write in English for safety and reporting purposes.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and understanding of weight units.
