The Commission Business Analyst role is a critical position within the Corporate-CCL business unit, primarily focused on managing and enhancing business requirements. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the business unit's structure, policies, and operations, which will be achieved through cross-functional collaboration. The analyst will be responsible for recommending solutions that improve business processes and planning, ensuring that the organization operates efficiently and effectively. In this position, the analyst will receive requirements documentation from business stakeholders, ensuring that all necessary details are captured accurately. They will also develop additional technical requirements to support these business needs and track the delivery of these requirements by the development team. A significant part of the role involves developing and executing tests on completed development activities to ensure they meet the specified requirements before being reviewed by end users. The analyst will review new system change requests, identifying impacted areas and managing detailed application requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure quality functions, features, and user experiences. The analyst will lead requirements reviews with key business stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and work closely with the QA team to develop test plans and perform software testing, ensuring adherence to business specifications and technical requirements. Additionally, the analyst will manage Tier 2 triage defect submissions, compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting complex data related to current and future system configurations. They will serve as the primary contact among HR, IT, HRIS, Payroll, and key business stakeholders, providing systems support and leveraging system capabilities to meet business and workforce needs. Recommendations for solutions or improvements through system enhancements or alternative logic will also be part of their responsibilities, along with performing other duties as requested.
