About the position

MacDonald-Bedford LLC is seeking an experienced Commissioning Agent (CxA) for full-time employment to provide professional consulting services associated with the design and construction of facilities. The role involves comprehensive involvement in commissioning for new construction projects and the re-commissioning and de-commissioning of existing projects, ensuring that all project requirements are met throughout various phases of construction.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert in the project's commissioning plan and execution.
• Lead, conduct and participate hands-on in (de)(re)commissioning.
• Develop PreFunctional Checklist, Functional Performance Test, Sequences of Operation, maintain issues logs, prepare Commissioning plans, review submittal documents and test reports, maintain meeting agendas & minutes, and complete final reports.
• Witness and verify that testing procedures are followed per project specifications.
• Hold regular Commissioning meetings, facilitate Owner's training, and verify that code requirements are being met.
• Ensure that the project meets the requirements of the Owner, Engineers, Architects, and applicable codes through prefunctional testing and functional performance testing of equipment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' experience using CxAlloy or BlueBeam on construction projects with a construction value of $3-5M.
• Professional Cx certification from an accredited body such as AABC, AEE, NEBB, etc.
• Effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to complete SF-86 and E-QIP and obtain a security clearance as required by the task order.
