The Communications Manager at AAA Northeast plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for the Insurance division. This position is not just about managing communications; it is about building a robust communication framework from the ground up, leveraging significant resources to ensure the success and scalability of the Insurance business. The Communications Manager will be instrumental in fostering a culture of transparency and alignment within the organization, ensuring that all stakeholders, including the Insurance team, leadership, board of directors, and external partners, are well-informed and confident in the company's direction and capabilities. In this role, the Communications Manager will develop and deliver executive communications for the Senior Vice President of Insurance Services. This includes crafting presentations for various high-stakes meetings such as board meetings, committee meetings, town halls, and partner meetings. The position requires close collaboration with senior executives to ensure that messaging aligns with business goals and the overall brand identity of AAA Northeast. Additionally, the Communications Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key business partners, such as ACE and AAA Life, to effectively manage updates and communications. A significant aspect of this role involves executing a robust internal communication strategy aimed at connecting over 550 front-line staff with the organization's long-term strategy. The Communications Manager will serve as a key driver of change management efforts, particularly as the organization plans to rapidly grow its staff. This includes organizing and streamlining communication channels and meeting materials for the Insurance organization, conducting training sessions to enhance presentation and communication skills among leaders, and serving as the main point of contact for corporate communication and public affairs teams. The role also involves managing external media requests and preparing business leaders for speaking engagements, fostering collaborative relationships with other Insurance Communication experts across different clubs to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
