Our client, a global technology leader based in Redmond, WA, is seeking a Communications Specialist to join their team on a hybrid basis. This position is a contract role, classified as W2 Non-Exempt, with a pay range of $50.00 - $57.00 per hour depending on experience. The role requires the individual to work onsite two days a week in Redmond, WA, while the remaining days can be worked remotely. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing the rhythm of business (ROB), which includes organizing business reviews, technical reviews, annual planning, and leadership staff meetings. This role is crucial for ensuring that business and technology development processes run smoothly and effectively. The specialist will drive operational excellence across the organization by planning, implementing, and monitoring projects aimed at improving team efficiency. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Communications Specialist will work across a wide group of stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality, and consistent completion of business operation activities. This is essential for achieving overall business and cultural priorities. The specialist will also develop high-impact communications tailored for executive, manager-level, and organization-wide audiences, ensuring that messaging aligns with corporate objectives. In addition, the role involves developing and managing organizational assets such as walking decks, organizational policies and procedures, team websites, SharePoint sites, and Teams channels. The Communications Specialist will lead and execute organization-wide strategic initiatives and change management projects, driving employee engagement efforts that include recognition programs, awards, feedback surveys, and people planning initiatives. The specialist will also be responsible for planning and organizing content for all-hands meetings, offsites, leadership team meetings, and business reviews. Ensuring the timely, creative, and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content, and information is a critical aspect of this role. The Communications Specialist will create a variety of content for different platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy, and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging.
