About The Position

The Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of radio wireless communications, managing new radio system deployments, and performing installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs of two-way radio equipment and other electronic communications systems. This role requires collaboration with sales and operations teams to provide effective support and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of operations experience in business-to-business technology rental and sales (preferably wireless).
• Minimum 5 years of management and/or supervision leading a team of technicians.
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• CETA technician certification required.
• Proficiency in the care and use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

• Wireless communication manufacturer licenses and training certifications.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage two-way radio communications site systems support.
• Install, maintain, and provide technical support for radio system equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair communication radio and repeater equipment issues.
• Manage infrastructure projects for new radio system installations or upgrades.
• Oversee asset management of communication division equipment.
• Track and maintain all FCC licenses on behalf of Total Safety.
• Train and coach communication technicians to improve their skillset.
• Direct the use of company resources to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability.
• Support the development of short and long-term strategic goals.
