About the position

The Community Assistant (CA) role is a part-time position that offers significant leadership and career development opportunities within a student housing apartment community. The CA is essential in fostering a supportive and vibrant living environment, assisting with marketing and leasing processes, and ensuring resident engagement and satisfaction. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, promoting community activities, and maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents.
  • Assist residents with inquiries, concerns, and requests in a friendly manner.
  • Play a significant role in the leasing and marketing process, including outreach marketing and social media strategy.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and programs to foster community spirit.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as managing resident inquiries and maintaining records.
  • Promote a safe living environment by adhering to community policies and reporting issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with staff members to ensure seamless operations and participate in training and meetings.
