The Community Liaison position is a vital role within the Ryan White Part B Program, focusing on enhancing communication and collaboration with TNCHAPs (Tennessee Community Health Access Program) and regional planning groups across Tennessee. The primary responsibility of the Community Liaison is to serve as the main point of contact between the Ryan White Part B Program and TNCHAPs, ensuring effective planning and coordination of HIV/AIDS services statewide. This role requires regular attendance at TNCHAP meetings to provide updates on program initiatives, solicit feedback, and foster collaboration with community stakeholders. In addition to facilitating communication, the Community Liaison will coordinate the program's presence at various community events across the state. This involves working closely with TNCHAPs and local organizations to raise awareness of HIV-related healthcare services. Engaging with Ryan White Part B consumers statewide is also a key responsibility, which includes coordinating and facilitating routine consumer meetings to gather insights and feedback. The Liaison will collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to enhance access to HIV care and services throughout Tennessee. Another critical aspect of this role is the development of presentation materials for routine TNCHAP meetings. The Community Liaison will summarize program updates, data trends, and key initiatives, ensuring that the information is accurate and relevant. This includes designing visually engaging materials to effectively communicate program updates and outcomes to a diverse audience of stakeholders. The position also emphasizes provider and consumer engagement, where the Liaison will actively work with Ryan White Part B providers to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives. This includes addressing any challenges or barriers to service delivery and fostering consumer engagement by involving them in program planning and decision-making processes. The Liaison will support the development and implementation of strategies aimed at increasing consumer participation in program activities and initiatives. Lastly, the Community Liaison will assist with various administrative duties related to TNCHAP coordination, such as scheduling meetings, distributing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes. They will also support the development and implementation of statewide HIV community planning activities, working closely with TNCHAPs to prioritize needs and allocate resources effectively.
