The Compensation and Benefits Leader at Cerity Partners is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs and policies. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that these programs are not only effective and compliant but also attractive to a diverse workforce. The successful candidate will be tasked with the administration, communication, and compliance of all compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they align with the company's mission and values. In this role, the leader will develop, maintain, and implement various compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration and job classification systems. They will manage the salary process to ensure that the organization remains competitively positioned in the marketplace. Additionally, the leader will monitor colleague eligibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of the compensation and benefits structure. The Compensation and Benefits Leader will also be responsible for developing and administering key colleague benefits such as retirement plans, medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as disability and life insurance. They will create and maintain benefit communications, colleague handbooks, and other related documents to ensure that all employees are well-informed about their benefits. Analyzing and evaluating benefit programs to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws will also be a critical part of this role. Furthermore, the leader will design and manage incentive plans and bonus programs, oversee the administration of payroll and timekeeping systems, and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Providing guidance and advice to human capital staff and management will be essential to foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the organization.
