This position collaborates with the VP of Human Resources and company leaders to manage the design, processes, and procedures for compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance, internal equity, and market competitiveness. The role involves planning, analyzing, and developing total reward programs that align with business objectives and attract and retain top talent. Additionally, the position is responsible for designing and managing the company wellbeing program to promote a culture of health and wellbeing. The primary responsibilities include managing the compensation program, which encompasses market data collection and analysis, overseeing the compensation review process, and providing guidance to leaders on compensation decisions. The role works in conjunction with the VP of Human Resources and HR Business Partners during the annual promotions process. It also involves partnering with HR leaders to develop, implement, and maintain compensation policies, practices, and procedures that are compliant, ensure equity, and are consistent with the company culture and values. Collaboration with leaders is essential to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices. In terms of benefits management, the position designs and administers competitive and compliant benefit programs, conducts benefit auditing for accurate associate records and billing, reconciles COBRA enrollments with benefit carriers, and manages regulatory COBRA reporting. The role serves as the primary contact for benefit vendors and partners, leading and coordinating the benefit enrollment and education process, including new hire benefit enrollment sessions, life events, and open enrollment. Additionally, the position manages the 401(k) Plan and IRS 5500 filing. The role also involves system administration and reporting, leveraging current systems to create efficiencies for Payroll and Human Resource departments, working with the HRIS Analyst to manage electronic file feeds between HRIS and carrier systems, and enhancing the associate experience through automation. Reporting related to benefits and compensation, as well as ACA regulatory compliance, is also managed by this position. Finally, the wellbeing aspect of the role includes managing the company wellbeing program and initiatives to promote a culture of health and wellbeing, coordinating and overseeing annual health screenings and flu vaccine clinics, and performing special projects as recommended by the management team or Vice President of Human Resources related to compensation and benefits. The position also recommends new approaches for continuous improvement of practices and policies, such as simplifying or enhancing forms and processes.
