About the position

The Compensation and Benefits Manager at ArtiFlex Manufacturing is a pivotal role designed for an individual with extensive experience in managing compensation and benefits for a growing team. This position encompasses the oversight and management of all payroll processing, employee benefits, and compensation administration. Proficiency in ADP software is essential for success in this role, as it will be utilized for payroll processing and benefits administration. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all employee benefits programs, which includes managing renewals, open enrollment, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will lead a team, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and productivity. Ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations is critical, as is the submission of required tax filings and reports. Continuous improvement of payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and accuracy will be a key focus area. Additionally, you will manage compensation administration, which includes developing salary structures and incentive programs. The role also involves the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and documentation related to payroll and benefits. You will oversee the Corporate Wellness Program and manage end-to-end payroll processing for over 900 employees across multiple states, each with varying pay requirements. This position is integral to the overall success of the organization, as it directly impacts employee satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all employee benefits programs, including renewals, open enrollment and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead staff, assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations; and submit required tax filings and reports.
  • Continuously improve payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage compensation administration, including salary structures and incentive programs.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to payroll and benefits.
  • Oversee Corporate Wellness Program.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 900+ employees in multiple states with multiple pay requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years' experience in payroll and benefits management, with a strong understanding of multi-state laws and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll best practices, tax regulations, and employment laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ADP software, including experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and report generation.
