About the position

As the Compensation and Benefits Manager at Precision Strip, you will be responsible for shaping and overseeing the company's compensation programs, policies, and procedures. This role involves managing payroll processes, compensation programs, and the administration of benefits programs, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all areas.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processes, compensation programs, and benefits plans.
  • Lead the design and maintenance of compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, and salary structure development.
  • Benchmark jobs against survey data and market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges.
  • Analyze internal data and external market trends to make data-driven decisions on pay adjustments, incentive programs, and other rewards initiatives.
  • Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation audits and reporting processes.
  • Oversee all benefit and compensation communication efforts for new, current, and prospective associates.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, or a related business field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll and compensation management.
  • Strong understanding of compensation best practices, market analysis, and regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive Excel data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage the work of others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Payfactors and/or Dayforce systems is a plus.
