About the position

The Compensation and Benefits Manager at Southeast Health is responsible for analyzing wage and salary data, assessing benefits costs, and proposing programs that align with the organization's goals to be recognized as a top employer. This role involves developing, communicating, and administering competitive total rewards strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership to the compensation and benefits team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data on wages and salaries and the cost of benefits.
  • Recommend and develop competitive total rewards strategies including compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Oversee FMLA and ADA processes and ensure policies are administered correctly.
  • Work closely with vendors and employees to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Make recommendations on compensation changes after careful review and analysis.
  • Administer leave of absence in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and compensation practices.
  • Oversee compensation processes including job evaluations and salary structure recommendations.
  • Support retirement committee and plan administration.
  • Serve as a member of the HR leadership team and support other HR functions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field, or equivalent experience of 4-6 years.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience in compensation and managing benefits programs or HR Generalist area.
  • Preferred certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP.
