About the position

The Compensation & Benefits Analyst at EnergySolutions is responsible for administering the company's compensation and benefit programs, ensuring they meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost-effective. The role involves collaboration with the Compensation Director and HR Managers to evaluate jobs, market pricing for new roles, and provide salary adjustment recommendations. Additionally, the analyst participates in the annual compensation review process and maintains compensation databases, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the company's compensation and benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring programs meet employee needs and comply with legal requirements.
  • Support management in the evaluation of jobs, including market pricing for new roles.
  • Provide salary adjustment recommendations based on evaluations.
  • Assist with the annual compensation review process for merit reviews and pay increases.
  • Participate in salary surveys to ensure company data is represented in vendor market data.
  • Maintain compensation databases, including job descriptions and job title updates.
  • Prepare materials such as presentations and training documents for compensation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal compensation clients and provide assistance as needed.
  • Support ongoing benefit processes, including reviewing and processing billing and ensuring compliance.

Requirements

  • Experience in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and compensation databases.
  • Ability to prepare presentations and training materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
