About the position

Louis Vuitton U.S. Manufacturing (LVUSM) is a part of this rich history and tradition, and proudly operates workshops in California and Texas. We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Manager to lead all aspects of our organization's compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll strategies, policies, and program designs for all LVUSM workshops. At Louis Vuitton, People Make the Difference and this position will be a key business partner to Human Resources colleagues, the LVUSM Leadership Team, and the Louis Vuitton Headquarters, to ensure that all programs are aligned with the Company's strategic objectives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the C&B Manager will have ownership of the following key areas: designing programs to attract, retain and engage a highly skilled workforce, while maintaining compliance, internal equity, and desirability. The role involves leading the evaluation and alignment of individual positions and job levels to ensure career framework and compensation structure. The C&B Manager will own all activity related to published compensation surveys throughout the year, auditing survey output, market trends, and competitive pay positions. Additionally, the manager will lead, implement, and coordinate health and welfare and retirement programs ensuring competitive, sustainable, cost-effective plans and programs for all employees. The position also requires establishing and managing compensation and benefits related budgets, providing forecasts and actuals, preparing accruals, and providing audit support as needed. The C&B Manager will provide accurate and detailed models and projections for staff costs-related projects and initiatives such as compensation plan changes, benefits plan changes, organizational changes, and headcount scenarios. Furthermore, the manager will coordinate the annual compensation review process (ICR) to ensure successful delivery, audit, approve, and control the payroll processing for all LVUSM entities, and coordinate all aspects of the LVMH Social Reports, liaising with Paris and applicable departments to gather the required information and streamline processes for accurate results. Lastly, the C&B Manager will prepare compensation proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and align individual positions and job levels to ensure career framework and compensation structure.
  • Own all activity related to published compensation surveys, auditing survey output, market trends, and competitive pay positions.
  • Lead, implement, and coordinate health and welfare and retirement programs ensuring competitive and sustainable plans for all employees.
  • Establish and manage compensation and benefits related budgets, providing forecasts and actuals, and preparing accruals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or other relevant field of study.
  • 8+ years of compensation, benefits, HR operations/systems experience with a minimum of 3 years in leading C&B strategies, plans, and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of leading practices and external trends in compensation, benefits, and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of current practices in equity plan administration and managing plan provisions.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance for benefit plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
  • Effective communicator, able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in various settings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Finance experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
  • Agile approach with the ability to be tactical and strategic.
  • Strong capacity to work autonomously.
