The Compensation & Benefits Manager at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's human resources programs and initiatives. The incumbent will also coordinate the annual open enrollment process and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries throughout the year. In addition to managing payroll and benefits, the Compensation & Benefits Manager serves as the Systems Administrator for the ADP HRIS, ensuring that the system meets the organization's needs and is utilized effectively. This role involves collaborating with ADP to enhance system integrations, generating compliance reports, and maintaining accurate data. The manager will also oversee the administration of health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, while ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. The position requires a strong focus on compensation management, including job description development, market analysis, and participation in compensation surveys. The manager will work with the Director of HR to oversee the annual Performance Management Program and ensure timely completion of merit increases and bonus programs. Additionally, the role involves talent acquisition and retention activities, such as conducting background checks, coordinating onboarding processes, and maintaining personnel files.
