About the position

As a Compensation & Benefits Manager at Louis Vuitton, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing compensation and benefits strategies that align with the company's goals and values. This position is based in Alvarado, United States, and is a permanent full-time role. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing market trends and internal data to recommend competitive compensation structures and benefits offerings that support the overall employee experience. In this role, you will lead initiatives related to compensation planning, benefits administration, and HR operations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR teams, finance, and external vendors, to ensure that our compensation and benefits programs are effective and aligned with industry best practices. Your ability to communicate effectively and adjust your messaging to different audiences will be essential as you present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. You will also be expected to stay abreast of current trends in compensation and benefits, leveraging your knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our programs. This includes understanding the implications of plan changes and ensuring that our practices remain compliant with all relevant regulations. Your advanced proficiency in Excel will be critical for data analysis and reporting, enabling you to provide insights that inform decision-making and strategy development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and internal data to recommend competitive compensation structures.
  • Collaborate with HR teams, finance, and external vendors to ensure effective compensation and benefits programs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on current trends in compensation and benefits to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for benefit plans.
  • Manage equity plan administration and understand implications of plan changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation, benefits, and HR operations/systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Knowledge of leading practices and external trends in compensation and benefits.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory compliance for benefit plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate ideas clearly.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-2 years of Finance experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Agile approach with the ability to be tactical and strategic.
  • Drive for results without compromising ethics and quality.
