About the position
The Compensation Consultant will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the company's compensation strategies. Reporting to the Manager of Compensation and Performance Management, this position involves collaboration with various HR and business departments to create equitable and competitive compensation plans. The consultant will act as an expert in job architecture, compensation analysis, job grade administration, and incentive plans, ensuring alignment with business strategies and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Advise on compensation philosophy and strategies.
- Develop job architecture frameworks.
- Conduct job evaluations to ensure internal equity.
- Analyze compensation trends for market competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with compensation regulations.
- Create and enhance compensation plans based on market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in compensation design and administration.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office software; UKG experience is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Compensation with strong consulting and influencing abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving and multitasking.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex information effectively.
- Knowledgeable in HR practices with the ability to analyze and interpret data for decision making.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Affiliation with HR networks.
- Progress towards certifications like PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or CCP preferred.
