About the position

Manages a team of GPU software professionals including compiler engineers, architects, and other developers who are responsible for delivering results over many areas of the software lifecycle, including design, development, debug, validation, optimization, customer engagement and/or product support. Development focus is on compiler technologies, programming languages, and application performance. Required to provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that sound engineering practices are followed. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment. Candidate will be leading multiple teams to efficiently harvest GPU computation power for 3D and compute APIs. Successful candidate must be able to efficiently manage execution deliverables to be able to meet key optimization and schedule metrics while also still being technical enough to give the supporting teams guidance and prioritization. Intel graphics compiler projects can involve DX shader, Open GL, OpenCL, and Triton among others. Past experience successfully leading execution of complex SW projects Familiarity with major programming interfaces and compiler IRs (LLVM,DXIL, SPIR-V,...).

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in CS, ECE or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in compiler development.
  • Experience in compiler architecture, optimizations, and code generation.
  • Familiarity with major programming interfaces and compiler IRs (LLVM, DXIL, SPIR-V, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • Past experience in GPU SW Architecture or HW Architecture.
  • Familiarity with the latest industry tools on code optimizations using ML techniques.
