About the position

Delaware Nation Industries is seeking a Computer Programmer to provide organizational support to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an effective Information Management concept and structure that fosters timely deployment and optimal operation of Information Systems to support the research mission of the AFRL. This position involves working closely with various Microsoft platforms, including SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI, as well as cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. The programmer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft SharePoint solutions, managing permissions, layout, and configuration to meet the needs of the organization. In addition to SharePoint, the role requires experience with a variety of scripting and coding languages, such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, and Bash. Familiarity with standard development applications like VSCode, GIT, and JIRA is also essential. The candidate must possess an active Secret clearance and a CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to $65,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, and the role requires in-person attendance at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
• Manage permissions, layout, and configuration of SharePoint.
• Develop applications using Microsoft PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure cloud platforms for various projects.
• Integrate and develop with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Use development tools such as VSCode, GIT, and JIRA for project management and version control.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Microsoft SharePoint design, implementation, and support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms or similar (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of integration and development with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with various scripting/coding languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with standard development applications (VSCode, GIT, JIRA).
• Active Secret clearance or above.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification or DoD 8570 equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Development experience using ColdFusion or ServiceNow.
