About the position

The Concessions Manager at the District Stadium oversees all aspects of the stadium concession stands while maintaining good community relations among various community and school clientele. This role is crucial for ensuring that the concession operations run smoothly during events and that all health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Determine menu and pricing for each season, take inventory, confirm pricing from vendors, schedule equipment set-up, place orders and stock stands for events.
  • Ensure that concession stands are in working order (hot water, cold water, electrical, equipment, maintenance, pest control) and are clean and meet Tri County Health food preparation requirements; coordinate health inspections; troubleshoot as needed.
  • Set training dates and train school concession managers to run concession stands during games; hold trainings throughout the year as needed to staff events.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Coordinate inventory for playoff games; clean and close concession stands at the end of the season; arrange for equipment shut off and water shut off as needed.
  • Inventory product throughout the sport season to coordinate with scheduled events; place weekly orders with concession supervisor. Schedule and receive deliveries, purchase and pick up products as needed; weekly laundering of cleaning towels needed for events.
  • Work concessions at all high school sporting and band events; coordinate concession staffing for rental groups and special events.
  • Post schedules and set up spreadsheet for department bookkeeper; track receipts and submit to bookkeeper weekly, expense log, reconcile p card, mileage report and time sheet; provide bank and balance funds at the end of each event and turn into bookkeeper weekly, collaborate and balance funds with bookkeeper at the end of each season.
