Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Graciously greet visitors and address the questions or concerns of prospective or current elders and families.
  • Provide support to sales and marketing and the business office.
  • Manage the lobby experience for all visitors.
  • Answer incoming calls and take messages.
  • Greet elders, families, visitors, and team members, in person and on the phone.
  • Assist other leadership team members to support Life Enrichment, Marketing, and accounting tasks.
  • Monitor the entry area for visitors and guests, ensuring a neat, clean, inviting entry.
  • Receive and send packages for elders, assisting them with questions and concerns as requested.
  • Represent the community by role-modeling core values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun.

Requirements

  • Kindness and a desire to work with the elderly.
  • Resourceful and strong problem-solver.
  • Ability to work well with people in emotional or stressful situations.
  • Organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience answering telephones and/or in a customer service role.
  • Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
