About the position

The Configuration/Change Manager (CCM) is responsible for managing configuration items throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and performing audits on processes and configuration items. This role involves interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to support corporate and government security configuration management policies. The CCM will assist in the creation of management plans, document configuration items, and support the Configuration Management System as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Manage configuration item management during the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards by reviewing design release documents.
  • Perform audits on processes and configuration items and support process improvements.
  • Interface with internal and external hosting facilities and work with stakeholders to apply security configuration management policies.
  • Assist management in creating Project Management, Requirement Management, and Configuration Management Plans.
  • Create Baseline Configurations based on the Configuration Management Plan and team inputs.
  • Identify and document Configuration Items (CIs) with program members.
  • Support Configuration Management System as a subject matter expert or administrator.
  • Define, generate, and support delivery of release baselines, including release packages and supporting environments.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, information technology or related discipline.
  • Five or more years of experience in the field or related area; at least three years of experience working in South Korea.
  • Certification: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • SECRET Clearance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with standard file naming conventions and logical directory structures for documentation.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with unstable requirements.
  • Desire to contribute to the maturation of a configuration management organization.
  • Customer-service oriented with a teamwork mentality.
  • Self-motivated and conscientious.
  • Experience with change order processing throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Project.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
