About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing multifamily construction projects from pre-construction to completion. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in multifamily or residential projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of multifamily construction projects, including schedules, budgets, and subcontractor management.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication.
  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily logs.
  • Monitor project schedules and track progress to identify potential delays and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in on-site inspections to ensure construction meets quality standards and adheres to plans and specifications.
  • Support the review of budgets, cost reports, and invoices to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting requirements, and contractual obligations.
