About The Position

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily field construction of projects valued between $7 to $15 million, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards. This role involves providing leadership, evaluating civil service execution, monitoring safety practices, and managing subcontractor performance and construction costs.

Requirements

• 10+ years' construction experience with a good understanding of all trades associated with commercial and industrial construction.
• Civil and Structural Construction Management background is a must.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to clients, teams, and management.
• Ability to lead meetings and take meeting minutes.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in daily tasks.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of OSHA Regulations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily field construction of an individual project in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
• Supervises and directs the daily efforts of the physical construction of the project through coordination of all field activities and subcontractor direction.
• Provides technical input for schedule creation, subcontracting strategy, and scopes of work.
• Ensures quality of construction, schedule adherence, budget containment, and safety compliance.
• Monitors crews for organizational structure, sizing crew mix ratios, and wage compliance.
• Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budgets for installation processes.
