Construction Project Manager

About the position

Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of the project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of the project/program. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Assigned multiple programmatic design changes that they will be responsible for.
• Ensuring cross-functional stakeholder alignment of the change.
• Evaluating the technical readiness of the change.
• Communicating with leadership within the business.
• General maintenance of PCM tools used to track their programs.

Requirements

• Project management experience in construction engineering.
• Smart sheets experience.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional engineering license.
• Project management professional certification in addition to PE.
• Experience managing projects of similar size and complexity to data centers.
• Graduate degree.
• Project management certification.
