The Construction Senior Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading residential construction projects across Michigan. This position involves overseeing project planning, managing construction activities, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role is integral to the success of the company's mission to create sustainable living spaces for communities in need.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning efforts, refining project charters and creating detailed work scopes
• Develop and manage request for quote/bid documentation
• Oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and schedule
• Collaborate with various project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and municipal authorities
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality control
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in construction project management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
