About the position

The Consulting Application Engineer at HCA Healthcare is a leadership role focused on driving the development and implementation of software solutions using Google Cloud Dialogflow. This position involves strategic planning, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality code and architecture. The engineer will collaborate with business partners to align IT capabilities with business needs and manage development projects from inception to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts and drive adoption of technology solutions.
• Provide guidance on software architecture and design decisions.
• Mentor team members and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with business partners to design and implement software solutions.
• Manage development projects through all phases including inception, elaboration, development, testing, and implementation.
• Perform development using HCA standards and maintain code control through Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
• Complete unit testing and participate in peer/code reviews.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support to other development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience with software architecture and delivery.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud and its architecture.
• Familiarity with Dialogflow CX or other conversational technologies.

• Experience with Visual Studio, GitHub, Google Cloud, Dialogflow CX, Big Query, Python, APIs, JIRA, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Node.js, Domain Driven Design, Angular, and React.
