The Consulting Solutions Architect Team is part of the Central Region Global Enterprise Sales team, focusing on providing technical pre-sales work in Networking and Automation for enterprise customers. The role involves engaging with strategic customer relationships and collaborating with internal teams to achieve successful business outcomes. The Advanced Technology Center enhances customer interactions through ideation sessions, demos, POCs, workshops, and training, fostering self-education and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Networking and Automation technical solutions to customers and internal organizations.
  • Act as a key resource for engaging with strategic customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with customer teams and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Drive market data for relevant technologies to understand industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise's data protection architecture, including backup, disaster recovery, and encryption frameworks.
  • Design and implement secure data lifecycle management processes.
  • Provide solutions for data governance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers, and mentorship to peers.
  • Simplify messaging and assist in vendor enablement for field sales teams.
  • Create functional multi-vendor architectures and solutions.
  • Engage in thought leadership activities such as event speaking and blog posts.
  • Help create proposals and presentations aligned with account teams and vendors.
  • Familiarize WWT account teams with Data Protection solutions and provide practice messaging updates.
  • Participate in the design and buildout of labs in the Advanced Technology Center.
  • Define POC and Customer Engagement guidelines.
  • Evaluate and recommend data protection tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with network security, cloud security, and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Proficiency in disaster recovery (DR) and cyber recovery (CR) planning and technologies.
  • Technical aptitude to learn new cloud security technologies and understand market trends.
  • Knowledge of data protection platforms and partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
  • Candidate must live in TN, KS, NE, or IA.
