About the position

The Consumer Credit Expert role at PNC is focused on providing 2LOD credit risk oversight for the Asset Management Group (AMG). This position involves monitoring the AMG portfolio, analyzing performance trends, and collaborating with sales and underwriting teams to expand client opportunities. The role requires a deep understanding of credit risk management and adherence to PNC policies, ensuring effective oversight and compliance within the AMG line of business.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of AMG portfolio including monitoring performance and reporting on trends.
• Understanding clients and expanding client opportunities with sales and underwriting teams.
• Participating in whiteboard meetings and prescreens.
• Reviewing activities associated with the credit approval process and ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintaining knowledge of consumer and commercial credit policy and deploying monitoring mechanisms.
• Monitoring credit by leveraging reporting and assessing trends to identify risks.
• Managing and updating credit transaction models and ensuring adherence to model management processes.
• Recognizing economic and regulatory trends affecting borrowers and initiating relevant analyses.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Commercial Underwriting/Credit risk.
• Experience working with PNC Policy & Procedure.
• AMG/Wealth Management experience required.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk processes and tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across AMG business lines.
• Understanding of financial analysis, industry trends, and deal structures.
