About the position

At OneMain, Consumer Loan Sales Specialists play a crucial role in empowering customers by listening to their needs and providing access to friendly, fast, and affordable financing for life's expenses. This position offers an opportunity to learn the lending and servicing business at OneMain, which allows for career growth and advancement. The Consumer Loan Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals while also meeting customer expectations. This involves developing new relationships and maintaining existing ones, guiding customers throughout the loan process and lifecycle. In this role, you will present financial solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring that they meet their goals. You will also present optional insurance products and educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loans to ensure a clear understanding. Additionally, you will partner with local businesses to seek out and develop new customers, learn to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools, and manage the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, while complying with all laws and regulations. The position is primarily on-site, with a schedule of Monday to Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed, which may include Saturdays. The target base salary range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00, based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program based on individual and company performance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Sales, Collections or Customer Service experience
  • Bilingual - Spanish
