At OneMain, Consumer Loan Sales Specialists play a crucial role in empowering customers by listening to their needs and providing access to friendly, fast, and affordable financing for life's expenses. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the lending and servicing business at OneMain, which will allow them to grow their careers within the company. The role involves not only meeting sales goals but also ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the loan process. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering results that align with both individual and branch sales goals, as well as meeting customer expectations. You will develop new relationships while maintaining existing ones, guiding customers through the entire loan lifecycle. This includes presenting financial solutions tailored to customer needs, offering optional insurance products, and educating customers on the terms and conditions of their loans to ensure they have a clear understanding of their commitments. Additionally, you will partner with local businesses to seek out and develop new customer relationships. A key aspect of the role is learning to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools effectively. You will also manage the life cycle of the loan, which includes collections activities, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This position is on-site, providing a dynamic environment where you can engage directly with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Sales, Collections, or Customer Service experience
  • Bilingual - Spanish
