About the position

The Content Creator for Energy Equity & Climate at Dialogue Collaborative is a part-time role focused on producing engaging content that addresses climate equity and social justice issues. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to create accessible and authentic content for social media and other platforms, aimed at educating and empowering Georgia's impacted communities.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and collaborate with the digital and communications departments to develop and produce short form content.
• Lead content creation and tackle new channels and content formats, with a strong focus on video (e.g. Reels, TikTok, Youtube).
• Stay abreast of relevant political, social justice, energy, and environmental news in Georgia and across the country.
• Distill complex climate equity and political topics into easily digestible content for a general audience with assistance from experts and feedback from creative leads and stakeholders.
• Closely monitor key trends and best practices for social media and content creation, identifying and championing areas of opportunity for the brand.

Requirements

• Have or are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism/Media, Theater, Film or any other related field.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Threads, etc.
• Basic graphic design and video editing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in Georgia (or within the South) strongly preferred.
• Comfortable on camera and able to understand complex issues and turn them into easily digestible content.
• Collaborative team player, creative thinker, and resourceful problem solver.
