About the position

The Content Creator at Lexicon, Inc. is responsible for developing and managing various forms of content, including photo, video, and written materials, to enhance internal and external communications. This role focuses on promoting the Lexicon brand across multiple platforms and requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective messaging and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, track, and publish content on Lexicon's internal and external platforms.
• Create content for channels including social media, press releases, paid advertising, blogs, web content, email marketing, and more.
• Leverage and repurpose existing content to maximize reach and engagement.
• Own and optimize the company's Digital Asset Management system.
• Propose and draft communications campaigns across various media.
• Proofread, edit, and elevate content produced within the company.
• Stay current on content, social, and digital trends relevant to the business.
• Identify and suggest new ways to reach target audiences with meaningful content.
• Develop internal and external contacts to maximize content quality.
• Maintain and promote the Lexicon brand and graphic standards in all communications.
• Work with outside vendors to create engaging multi-media content.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to prepare proposals and collateral materials.
• Assist in selecting and ordering branded merchandise for distribution.
• Present marketing and communications ideas to the marketing director.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the marketing director.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism, English or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a related capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations.
• Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite or related software.
• Experience in website editing with WordPress, content marketing, photography, and videography.
