About the position

The position involves collaborating with design and video teams to create content for various formats, including digital and print, for different departments within the County. The role encompasses research, story development, storyboarding, and script writing, as well as assisting with studio and field productions. The individual will serve as a field producer for press events and will independently develop concepts and creative direction for client departments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and video teams to create content for digital, print, and other formats.
• Conduct research and develop stories for various channels.
• Storyboard and write scripts for content production.
• Assist with studio and field productions, including securing interviews and scouting locations.
• Serve as field producer for the setup and execution of press events.
• Independently develop concepts and creative direction for client departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in television/video production, journalism, public relations, or communications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Submission of three writing samples at the time of application.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
