About the position

The Export Compliance Development Associate position is part of Parker Aerospace's Export Compliance Leadership Development Program (ECLDP), a two-year competitive training initiative aimed at cultivating future leaders in export compliance. Participants will engage in rotational assignments across various business divisions, gaining hands-on experience and leadership training while contributing to the company's objectives of profitable growth and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Work with division or location Export Compliance team to impact Parker's Win Strategy objectives.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and improve processes and procedures.
  • Develop and display leadership skills and build broad business acumen.
  • Learn and develop quality and lean concepts for effective operations management.
  • Interact with experienced Export Compliance Managers and Administrators on independent projects.
  • Assist other managers and functional teams as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in trade compliance, international business, national intelligence, supply chain, or shipping/logistics.
  • Must be in senior standing and currently enrolled in an applicable degree with a graduation date before June 2025.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Working knowledge of export compliance concepts and relevant experience through internships or co-op opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Geographic flexibility for relocation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in international business or trade compliance through internships or co-op opportunities.
