Contract Negotiation Manager

About the position

Piper Companies is looking for a Contract Negotiation Manager to join a hospital system and healthcare company. This is based in Columbia, MD but mostly a remote job. Needs someone within a drivable range for occasional onsite meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-side contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and secure optimal terms.
• Analyze vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contract negotiations, procurement, or cost management.
• Very strong negotiation abilities to gain favorable contract terms and cost savings.
• Needs to have a focus on client-side operations.
• Strong understanding of contract law.
• Experience handling renewals, RFPs, new contracts, and SOWs.
