About the position

The Control Systems & Instrumentation Technician plays a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes through automation and innovation. This position focuses on troubleshooting PLC controls, developing new manufacturing methods, and collaborating with various teams to improve production efficiency. The technician will be responsible for supporting PLC controls, refining manufacturing methods, and ensuring the seamless integration of new equipment into operations.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage programming skills to tackle PLC and HMI systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and run system tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new control methods.
  • Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Drive productivity improvements and minimize waste through Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Play a key role in the launch of new equipment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • Proven skills in PLC and HMI programming, motion control, and vision systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot control systems and configure HMI/IIOT systems.
  • Experience in programming, configuring, and maintaining PLCs for automated equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
