About The Position

As a Controller at Telix Pharmaceuticals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements across various legal entities and currencies, in compliance with IFRS. You will lead a team of accountants and specialists, overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with internal controls. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to support financial objectives and drive process improvements, while also managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification highly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and general ledger management.
  • 5+ years of management experience with a proven ability to lead a high-performing team.
  • Experience in a hyper-growth company and with M&A integration preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP or other accounting software programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with international accounting standards or working in a global organization.
  • Demonstrated involvement in mergers and acquisitions with an understanding of closing/purchase price accounting transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue recognition.
  • Lead and manage a team of accountants and AR/AP specialists, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal controls (SOX).
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entry review and reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement review processes and variance analysis to prevent errors during the closing process.
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliation processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage accounting for fixed assets and sustainability reporting.
  • Partner with FP&A team to analyze monthly activities and enhance forecasting.
  • Collaborate with various teams regarding SOX compliance and audits.
  • Assist in purchase price accounting for mergers and acquisitions.
