About the position
The Controls Engineer/Ignition Programmer role involves programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems, with a focus on the Ignition SCADA platform. Responsibilities
- Write and debug PLC code as per work instructions or customer requirements
- Perform corrective maintenance, non-routine repair, modification, troubleshooting, and calibration of PLC/HMI code/system components
- Commission industrial networks and establish stable communication between PLCs and network components
- Verify functionality of switches on cylinders, actuators, and other devices
Requirements
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley/Siemens
- 3-7 years of experience in PLC and HMI programming
- Experience with SQL databases, running queries, and building ETL packages
