About the position

The Coordinator, Human Resources and Organization Development (Executive Assistant) is responsible for providing administrative support to the Office of Human Resources (OHR). This position reports to the Vice President of human resources and organizational development. The role involves coordinating various administrative tasks, managing schedules, and facilitating communication within the department and with external parties.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates administrative support to the Vice President, maintaining workflow and managing the executive's schedule.
  • Manages office operations, handles customer inquiries, and processes address changes for employees and student workers.
  • Assists Vice Presidents and HR leaders across various departments by performing assigned tasks and leading special projects.
  • Facilitates interdepartmental communications and assists in monitoring strategic plans and departmental goals.
  • Prepares and processes confidential documents and oversees records related to finance, accounting, payroll, or personnel issues.
  • Attends and records minutes at meetings of the Board of Trustees Human Resources Committee and other committees.
  • Performs budget preparation, monitors spending, and coordinates purchases and invoices.
  • Coordinates development and completion of surveys, data collection, and special projects.
  • Responsible for coordinating student employment and managing student employees in the division.
  • Assists all OHROD departments with various tasks, including benefits reconciliation and onboarding new employees.
  • Promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all OHROD efforts.
  • Maintains professional knowledge and seeks opportunities for skill enhancement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with budgeting and PO requests.
  • Knowledge of Banner.
  • Experience in human resources.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a hiring range of $48,182.00 - $60,227.00.
