About the position
Traditions Home Health Services is seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide essential care for geriatric clients in the Everett area. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, monitoring health, and ensuring a safe and clean environment while engaging clients in meaningful interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Monitoring vital signs and facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan.
- Preparing healthy meals and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift.
- Adhering to infection control protocols.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with topical applications.
- Conducting household support tasks to maintain a clean home environment.
- Engaging clients in fun and stimulating activities and meaningful conversations.
- Providing transportation for outings, errands, and appointments.
- Assisting with transfers and operating mechanical lifts.
- Documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone.
- Reporting any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team.
Requirements
- Compassionate and reliable demeanor.
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Skilled in assisting with transfers and operating mechanical lifts.
- Proficient in dementia care and Parkinson's care.
- Ability to document activities digitally using a smartphone.
Nice-to-haves
