About the position

Join Road Runner Sports as a Copywriter, where you will be responsible for crafting impactful marketing copy that enhances the customer experience across various platforms including web, retail, email, and print. This role focuses on driving revenue and engagement through compelling content, persuasive calls-to-action, and expert product knowledge, while ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head of Copy and Content, project managers, and team members to strategize marketing communication.
• Write personalized and segmented messaging for email, print, retail, and web content to enhance customer engagement and conversion.
• Review and edit social media content, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the blog content team to update existing blog content and create new stories.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels, sharing insights with team members.
• Generate innovative messaging ideas and copy approaches to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
• Produce high-quality, error-free content that adheres to brand standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or Journalism/Technical Communications.
• 4+ years of experience in omnichannel marketing copywriting.
• Expertise in Asana project management tool and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills to interact and align with all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current running/fitness culture and trends.
• Experience in writing content for diverse audiences as part of a segmentation strategy.

Nice-to-haves
