About the position

The Corporate Maintenance Trainer works closely with new and existing Trainers and Technicians to develop skills and ensure proper repairs are being performed. This role involves developing training profiles and overseeing the execution of development plans for Regional Maintenance Trainers and Field Maintenance Technicians. The trainer also provides advanced technical assistance to Regional Maintenance Trainers, Field Maintenance Technicians, and the Technical Support Center as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates training of new and existing Regional Maintenance Trainers and Field Maintenance Technicians in all aspects of Fuel.
  • Ensures proper training of all maintenance related tasks associated with Fuel, including Dispensers, POS, Tank Level Monitors, Fuel Communications, and Environmental Monitoring.
  • Supports Facilities by being Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the specialized trade of Fuel.
  • Evaluates RMT's and techs based upon various performance metrics and skill assessments; determines if additional training is necessary and conducts training as needed.
  • Develops, implements, and delivers training programs to address individual development needs of Regional Maintenance Trainers and Field Maintenance Technicians.
  • Develops skill and competency profiles and formulates individual development plans based on employee profiles; provides feedback to management on individual and group progress.
  • Creates and develops advanced and professional training materials, programs, in-person and virtual training classes.
  • Acts as Fueling SME representative for inter-departmental projects.

Requirements

  • High School/GED education.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Prefer at least one fueling certification in Gilbarco or Wayne.
  • Expert knowledge on Gilbarco dispensers and POS (preferred).
  • Expert knowledge on Wayne dispensers and components (preferred).
  • Expert knowledge on tank level monitors i.e. Veeder Root, Incon, Evo, etc. (preferred).
  • Expert knowledge with communication requirements, electrical requirements, correct application, start up and service of fuel systems in the retail environment (preferred).
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to research and resolve issues.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to facilitate and direct the activities of others.
  • Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations.
  • Ability to build and sustain collaborations.

Benefits

  • Pay range: $27.00 - $37.00 Hourly.
