We are currently seeking an Underwriting Specialist to join our Corporate Underwriting Team. The selected candidate will: Coordinate the underwriting quality assurance program including preparing underwriting audits, scheduling kick-off and wrap-up meetings, drafting reports and following-up on action plans. Assist in managing underwriting vendors including contract & invoice review. Assist in developing underwriting guidelines, risk selection grades and authority levels to support underwriting profitability. Assist with assigned line(s) of business or industry segment(s) including monitoring profitability and recommending opportunities for improvement. Assist Corporate Underwriting teammates with projects and research as requested This position will be located in our Sarasota, FL corporate office with a hybrid schedule (2 days remote/3 days in office).
