About the position

The Correctional Food Service Supervisor III position at Pasquotank Correctional Institution involves supervising food service operations within a correctional facility. Responsibilities

  • Supervise Correctional Food Service Officers in a close custody facility.
  • Maintain standards of sanitation in all kitchen areas.
  • Plan and conduct food preparation and service.
  • Manage food procurement and storage responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with food service management protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Four years of experience in institutional food preparation and food services, or management of commercial food service operations, or three years as a Correctional Food Service Officer.
  • Documented knowledge of large-scale food production and food service activities.
  • Documented supervision of employees and/or inmate workers.
  • Eligibility for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
