About The Position

The Counter Sales role at Quality Pool Supply is a full-time position focused on providing excellent customer service and managing order entry at the sales counter. Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
• Experience with pool and/or building products preferred but not required
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required
• Experience with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.)
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug test

Responsibilities

• Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer system
• Interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person
• Greeting customers with a friendly attitude
• Communicating to customers the correct product for their application
• Explaining how the material is priced and sold
• Creating Sales Orders
• Creating credit memos and processing warranty returns
• Account collection
• Creating Quotes to estimate project costs and material quantities
• Efficient scheduling of truck deliveries
• Maintaining clear communication between manager, employees, and clients
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Learning basic knowledge of products available to customers
• Informing management of special order materials needed by customers
• Assisting Operations Manager as needed
• Assisting with Inventory Cycle Counts
• Order picking, staging, and replenishment
• Shipping and receiving
• Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
• Operating necessary warehouse equipment
• Operating delivery vehicles (vans and box trucks)
• Performing other related duties as assigned
