About The Position

The County Program Analyst position at the Department of Agriculture in North Dakota involves supporting agricultural programs at the county level. Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of general work experience in support of projects, programs, or assignments related to agricultural operations or customer service functions.
• Successful completion of four years of education above high school in an accredited institution or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Specialized experience equivalent to the CO-5 or GS-5 level for higher grade levels.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with agricultural program policies and practices.
• Knowledge of analytical and evaluative techniques for assessing program operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out office activities and functions pertaining to one or more of the program areas administered in the county.
• Interpret and explain procedures, program regulations, and forms to producers and other agency personnel.
• Utilize various web-based software applications to maintain producer data and process automated forms.
• Use a high degree of initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assigned tasks and resolving problems encountered.
